Oil and Gas Permitting Specialist
Walsh Environmental is seeking an oil and gas permitting specialist. Ideal candidate will work independently with excellent oral and written communication. Requires a BS or related experience with a minimum of 2 years of exploration and production permitting experience as a consultant in Colorado and/or Wyoming. Position can be located in Boulder, Denver, or Grand Junction.

Staff level Engineer
Walsh Environmental located in Arizona is looking for a staff level engineer with 5 to 7 years of general environmental experience; 1 to 2 years of these in air quality monitoring and dispersion modeling experience. The successful candidate will have good oral and written communication skills, team player and ability to work independently, familiarity with environmental regulatory and permitting process, comfortable working with statistics and intermediate mathematical analysis, and 6 to 12 months experience programming in C, C++, Fortran, or comparable scientific programming language such as Matlab or IDE. Willing to travel (project work will be in the northwest areas of Arizona, Prescott and Flagstaff). GIS Specialist-Coordinator

Walsh seeks a full time GIS Specialist- Coordinator. Duties will include daily interaction with environmental scientists and engineers to create and support GIS projects involving spatial data sets, GPS and remote sensed imagery, attribution, analysis and preparation of maps and graphics for use in technical documents and GeoWeb presentations. Solid, high level competence with full ESRI GIS products suite including ArcView, Info, Pad, Catalog, Toolbox and extensions are required. Additional experience with remote sensing software (and theory) such as ERDAS or ENVI and graphics software experience is desirable. Position coordinates with other office GIS/CAD technicians. Requires a bachelor's degree in related area of specialty and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in related area and must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of GIS used in life/geo-sciences. Excellent communication and time-management skills are a requisite. Creativity, flexibility and independent work ethic are desirable. Full benefits package, 401K.
